It’s nearly been two months. Two months of us sucked into a bubble of indulgence.

Yes, that’s the perfect word to describe the way we are together. It’s indulgence and I can’t get enough of him.

That dinner ended with him covering me with cream and fruit and chocolate sauce and the man ate it all off me.

That is what happened and he hasn’t stopped being crazy with me.

So tonight I know as we enter his bedroom and my gaze lands on the chains on the nightstand that he has something kinky as fuck in mind for me.

I love him calling me that. “You want to chain me to your bed?”

“Yes, remember I’m wild and crazy.” He runs his tongue over his bottom lip and nods. “I’m wild and crazy about you so it fits that I’d want to do that to you. I want to possess you and truly claim you for myself by allowing you control over what you trust me with. I want you to trust me with your body. That body with those gorgeous Marilyn curves.”

Although I smile, he struck something I’ve shoved to the back of my mind.

Trust.

He wants me to trust him.

My ability to trust was damaged by the two people I trusted the most. It’s so damaged by them that I can’t even speak to my sister.

Marc was Marc. I’m hurt by what he did, but Clara… I don’t think I can ever forgive her, or trust her again.

And to trust another man?

I gaze at Finn and surprise myself when I’m able to contemplate it. It’s coming. Trust… it’s coming.

Slowly… it’s coming. It may not happen in full bloom tonight, but I sense it deep inside me and I want to embrace because it’s Finn. I look at him and see his admiration and care for me. It’s all in his eyes and I know what I see as he looks back at me is just for me.

Of all the men I’ve ever met, it’s ironic that I’ll probably come to trust the player the most. The thing is he hasn’t been a player with me.

“I’ll… do it,” I say, smoothing my hand up his wide chest.

"Really? I get to have a real-life wild fantasy about you?"

“Yeah, because I’m wild and crazy about you too.” He could never know what it takes for me to say that.

Or… maybe he does.
